BESPLATNI KAZINO

Gambling and responsible play

Gambling for money always carries risk. Here are the facts about how games of chance work, what the law says and where to find help in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

What gambling is

Gambling is any game where you stake money or something of value on an outcome you cannot control, hoping to win more: betting shops, slot machines, casinos, lotteries and online games for money.

Besplatni kazino is not gambling. There are no deposits, credit purchases, withdrawals or cash prizes. Chips are virtual and cannot be turned into money. The games are for fun and for learning the rules.

Why the house always has the edge

Every game for money is built so the operator profits over time. European roulette has one zero, so the house keeps about 2.7 percent of every bet. American roulette with two zeros keeps about 5.3 percent. Slot machines pay back less than they take in, and bookmakers build their margin into the odds.

Every spin and every deal is independent of the last one. A losing streak does not mean a win is “due”, and a bigger bet does not win back losses; it only raises the risk.

The law in Bosnia and Herzegovina: 18 plus only

Across Bosnia and Herzegovina gambling is allowed for adults only. The gaming laws of the Federation of BiH, Republika Srpska and Brčko District bar anyone under 18 from taking part in games of chance, and in the Federation this covers games offered online as well. Minors may not enter casinos, betting shops or slot halls, and operators must check players’ age.

Besplatni kazino is not meant for children either. The content is simulations for adults, even though no money is played.

Signs that gambling is becoming a problem

  • You play longer and with bigger stakes than you planned.
  • You try to win back lost money by playing again.
  • You hide how much you play or how much you have lost from family and friends.
  • You borrow money, sell things or fall behind on bills because of gambling.
  • You feel restless, angry or anxious when you try to stop.
  • You gamble to escape worries or bad feelings.

If you recognise two or more of these signs, talk to one of the professionals below. Gambling addiction is an illness that can be treated, and family members can seek help too.

If you gamble for money

  • Set an amount and a time limit before you start and stick to them.
  • Never gamble with money for rent, bills or food, or with borrowed money.
  • Do not chase losses. Treat lost money as the price of the entertainment.
  • Take breaks, and do not play when tired, drinking or upset.
  • Talk to someone you trust if you notice you are losing control.
