How to use the wheel
- Type the fields in the box, one per line. You can have from 2 to 40 fields.
- Press Spin the wheel. It turns for a few seconds and stops on a random field.
- The result appears under the wheel and is added to the spin history.
- Turn on Remove the drawn field if the same field should not come up again, for example when setting a player order.
The ready made sets are Games on the site, Numbers 1 to 10 and Yes or no. With the games set the result links straight to that category.
Is the pick fair?
Yes. The field is chosen before the wheel turns, with the browser’s cryptographic random number generator (Web Crypto), and every field has exactly the same chance. The animation only shows the field already chosen. Nothing is sent to a server, and your fields stay in this browser.
What people use the wheel for
- picking the next game when you cannot decide,
- party games, dares and challenges,
- deciding the player order or who starts,
- calling on people at random in a class or workshop,
- a quick choice between several equally good options.
The wheel and roulette
Roulette is a casino game with 37 numbers and bets on numbers, colours and groups. This wheel has no stakes and no winnings: it only picks one of your fields. To spin a real roulette wheel with virtual chips, see the roulette category.
